How to add the taxes?
We highly recommend to send us your requirements for taxes on [email protected] and we will configure it for you. This is very critical configuration and needs attention. Our experts will do it for you and test it before launching your store. In case, if you want to do it yourself which we do not recommend, you can do it from below steps:
Step 1: Add Geo Zone
- Log in to seller dashboard
- Go to Settings and click on Localisation
- Go to Geo Zones and click on + to add a new zone for your store
- Add the country and zones where you want to sell and set the tax for
- Click on save
Step 2: Add Taxes
- Go to Settings and click on localisation
- Go to Taxes and click on Tax rates
- Add the tax rate and select Geo zone for which you want to set this taxes for
- Click on save
Now you must test this configuration by adding test order.
- You can add one test product with lesser amount, for example $1
- Now go to your online store and do checkout
- Try checking checkout by adding different country address
- See the taxes and verify it
- If it sets correctly and showing right tax amount that means you have set it correctly
